Welcome
The Center for Public Health Initiatives' team is thrilled to collaborate with academic, community and other partners on a variety of projects and programs, including:
- The MPH Program (part of the Joint School of Public Health at ODU and NSU)
- Sentara Health funded partnerships with ODU and dozens of health and social services organizations
- NSU as the Norfolk/Portsmouth coalition builder for the Institute for Public Health Innovation's "Community Health Workers for a Healthier VA" project, funded by the CDC
- NSU as the Eastern Virginia Area Health Education Center (September 2022 - August 2024)
- The CPHI Communications Hub, in partnership with WNSB and NSU's Communications Department
- Community-engaged research projects led by NSU faculty and including student opportunities
- Community and Professional Education Programs (non-credit)
