Biography
As a Nurse Consultant for older people, my interests lie in understanding the effects of social isolation and frailty in the older population. Having completed my Doctoral studies in exploring the lived experiences of social isolation and frailty in the older population using interpretative phenomenological analysis.
Areas of Research
I am interested in frailty and social isolation and the effects on health outcomes.
From the findings of my Doctoral study, I am also interested in the sense of 'belonging' within the older population.
