Biography
Dr. Ayesha Chowdhury is an academic at Â׸£ÀûƬ specialising in International Terrorism Law. She holds a Ph.D. in International Terrorism Law from Leeds Beckett University where her research focused on the preventative detention of terror suspects, policing of terrorism and the balance between national security and human rights. She had also completed the Bar Professional training course prior to her transition as an academic. She is passionate about educating the next generation of legal professionals and contributing academically by sharing her insights on emerging trends in terrorism law and various human rights-related issues
