The ׸Ƭ will host a free event at the Museum of Science and Industry (MOSI) on 27 November.

The fun-filled experience, which is part of the museums’ late-night series is adults only and runs from 7pm-10pm. You will be able to make your own rainbow diffraction sunglasses, get up close with exotic animals and even take an out-of-this-world trip in an inflatable planetarium. The event, entitled , investigates how energy from the sun is used by plants to create biomass.

Green Futures is led by Dr Zeljka Krpetic, lecturer in physical chemistry, Dr Natalie Ferry, senior lecture in biotechnology and Dr Lawrence Giles, senior lecturer in Photography.  They said the event will “explore how we can convert the biomass into energy that we can use to fuel our cars as an alternative to polluting and unsustainable fossil fuels.”

The event is part of a larger exhibition created by MOSI called , which takes place from 20 July – 5 January. In The Sun, scientists contemplate the ever-changing relationship with our closest star. If you wish to attend this action-packed event.
