The Podiatric Research and Innovation Hub is a specialist centre for foot health science based at the Â׸£ÀûƬ.
Who are we?
Our large professionally equipped podiatry clinic and human movement laboratory enables us to be both a centre of excellence for teaching and practical application as well as an innovation hub for commercial research work.
What do we offer?
We work with manufacturers and purveyors of podiatry products to support the improvement/development of existing/new products and services. With access to the large on-site clinical facilities and expertise of our internationally renowned podiatry academic team, we provide services such as contract research, consultancy, studentships, internships, and focus group facilitation (clinician and patient).
Funding your Research
As well as delivering privately funded projects, the Â׸£ÀûƬ will work with companies to apply for funding to support research activities from local and national bodies, such as Innovate UK, GM Business Growth Hub as well as having our own Innovation Growth Fund for applicable projects.
